Cultural Resource Management

Led by underwater archaeologist Dr. Calvin Mires, Marine Imaging brings deep experience in cultural site survey and management. Dr. Mires has led projects with NOAA, DOD, BOEM, WHOI, and multiple state agencies. Our CRM services include:

  • Submerged site identification (diver and geophysical)
  • Marine geophysical and GIS data collection/processing
  • Remote sensing hardware/software deployment
  • Post-survey analysis (GIS, ROV imagery, sidescan, multibeam, sub-bottom, AUV)
  • AAUS-certified scientific diving
