The Missions to Bring Them Home

When viewing the global breadth of Marine Imaging partners, there is one partner that humbly and nobly stands at the forefront through its mission and contributions to the United States and countries around the world: the Department of POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA). Since 2019, Marine Imaging Technologies has partnered with DPAA by providing remote sensing technology to locate wreck sites underwater and dive teams to document and discover more information about them. Our reports contribute to the overall understanding of these archaeological sites and their site formation. We have also partnered with DPAA to excavate sites in order to recover evidence of MIA service members.

Working with the DPAA to answer questions, solve mysteries and bring to a close the last chapter of fallen or lost U.S. serviceman is our profound privilege.

This page is dedicated to the soldiers, marines, airmen, and sailors that gave their lives for our country, our ideals and the universal right to freedom. For these fallen protectors – often just kids who only had a fleeting taste of life – we proudly proclaim “We remember you. We have not forgotten. We will not forget.”

As you view this page you may see people or places that you recognize. Our field teams are handpicked from multiple countries and cultures, and our assigned missions lead us across the globe. Every team member, from leaders to interns, from topside to subsea, is fully committed to the mission of the DPAA.

Members of the Marine Imaging team come from all over the world and experiences. From marine industries, diving, and field sciences to veterans and interns who volunteer their time for service to the greater purpose. All of them are part of the extended Marine Imaging family.

This page is also dedicated to our colleagues who have given months of their time to help us in our mission.
